(below) this was how it started; i wanted formal, gothic shapes, but thecape was just boring and not batman-ish enough:
always a fun theme to return to, i'm sure i'll do more. long-time followers might recognize this composition, i originally did it for st michel 5 years ago:
although even that was based on an earlier picture from closing night, which was based on an earlier earlier idea for children's book story.
